ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will work closely with the Controller, leveraging company systems and resources that drive

efficiency and accuracy in reporting. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and

coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include preparing

financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit

preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.


To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted

Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding Senior Accountant should also

possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision

and perform under pressure.


· Prepares financial analysis and reports.

· Maintains the general ledger.

· Reconciles bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.

· Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.

· Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to

perform annual audit.

· Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

· Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with

internal and external customers.

· Accounting or Finance Degree

· Regular and punctual attendance · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting. · Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. · Ability to correctly prepare tax reports. · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software Preferred Skills · Minimum must meet requirements to take CPA exam. · CPA Preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
