Required Experience:

  • RN: 2 years of Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
  • Endo Tech: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Job Description:

The Endo Tech plays a crucial role in supporting the endoscopy unit within the facility. Working closely with the healthcare team, the Endo Tech assists in the delivery of quality patient care during endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare endoscopy rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
  2. Assist in the preparation of patients for endoscopic procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
  3. Provide support during endoscopic procedures, maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
  4. Assist with patient monitoring and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  5. Handle and maintain endoscopic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
  6. Adhere to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations at all times.
  7. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain competency in endoscopy procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Endo Tech program preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Endo Tech in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
