We are seeking TEMPEST Engineers who wish to build their skills and focus on tackling the most difficult challenges of the US Government, in one of the most exciting areas of the mission available. GIGATEC offers top salaries and benefits packages, where your long-term success is our mission.


NOTE – Our positions require a Top Secret clearance, as well as Counterintelligence and Lifestyle polygraphs. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa. (CI Poly, or Secret Clearance can be considered).

Requirements:

As part of our team, you'll get to work on a team of TEMPEST Engineers and SMEs helping perform TEMPEST testing and provide TEMPEST engineering recommendations to help ensure the security of our nation's systems . You'll learn from our existing TEMPEST subject matter experts to grow your knowledge and skills, as well as share your TEMPEST expertise with others. You'll get to work onsite with the customer, integrated into their team to ensure mission success.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • TEMPEST certified technician (Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II)
  • 3+ years of experience with TEMPEST testing, design, or engineering


Capabilities / Duties:

  • Set up Equipment under test (EUT) enclosure in accordance with Govt specs
  • Properly execute TEMPEST test methods and signal analysis
  • Record all test results and concerns
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Emanation Security ( EMSEC ) vulnerabilities
  • Work with TEMPEST vendors
  • Perform Test set up ambient measurements
  • Capture and Analyze qualification test data and results and writing reports
  • Work with project teams to evaluate products with respect to NSITSSAM
  • Verify TESTEST test requirements by the CTTA
  • Attend TEM with crypto device user / customer, CSCM and vendor
  • Provide testing of certified cryptographic equipment to discover vulnerabilities in secure systems
  • Perform TEMPEST testing of COTS equipment to discover the extent of vulnerabilities for countermeasure purposes
  • Validate IASRD is applied consistently throughout the IC


Additional Details:

Work is to be performed in Government facility and only while Government officials are in the building

Willing to consider taking an hands on RF Engineer, or Electronics / Electrical Engineer in lieu of a Tempest engineer, must have Poly
