Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Overview:

The Enrollment Processor must be responsible and organized. The Enrollment Processor will be responsible for assisting with the enrollment application process, handling documentation, collecting information, entering data, and providing quality customer service. The Enrollment Processor is required to assist with letter generation and tracking, manual system and spreadsheet updates, as well as other tasks needed by the department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and mail letters to members and physicians
  • Collect information and data to qualify applicants for programs, services, or courses.
  • Enter, update, and review data and records.
  • Correspond with applicants and prospective candidates (i.e. confirming PCP)
  • Work with Member Care to keep systems reconciled
  • Adhere to productivity, quality and compliance expectations
  • Work with member care/sales to answer enrollment status questions
  • Other duties as assigned; nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at anytime.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 year of enrollment experience
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is critical
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of database and relevant software systems.
  • Excellent Administrative skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the education system
  • Excellent verbal communication and written skills
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Guidelines per CMS Chapter 2, and knowledge of transactions between CMS and health plans
  • Ability to effectively multitask between various software systems and tasks.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 3 year of experience with Medicare health plans preferred
