Allegiance Staffing is seeking for a Structural Fitter for a structural steel fabrication shop Where: Thomasville, NCShift: 1st shift- Monday – Thursday 6a-430p and Friday 6a-330pmPay: $18.00 DOETemp to HireStructural Fitter requirements:
  • Hand eye coordination
  • Previous experience not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work individually at a fast pace
  • Ability to work in a non-controlled temperature environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds required
  • Good attendance and positive attitude are required
  • Ability to work in a close team environment under minimal supervision
  • Must be reliable
Structural Fitter position responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, and real materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
  • Align, fit, and Weld or bolt structural components together, ensuring that they are positioned correctly
  • Install and secure structural components in place, ensuring alignment in the structural integrity
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, adherence to specifications and compliance with safety standards
  • Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working conditions
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment work closely with other construction professional including welders crane operator engineers to complete projects efficiently
