Overview

Now Hiring Machine Saw Operator

Location: Pataskala, OH

Salary: $20-22/hr

Job Summary:

The machine saw operator will be responsible for setting up and the operation of a Peddinghaus CNC Drill Saw line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate the Peddinghaus saw and drill machinery according to blueprints or other instruction.
  • Prepare materials for cutting, including the measuring, marking and positioning of materials according to drawings.
  • Oversight of quality controls by monitoring the machinery and adjusting as necessary to ensure the accuracy of the finished product.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacement of blades, as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including quantities produced, materials used from stock and properly tagging finished products with job and sequence numbers.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Structural steel fabrication environment, including experience in operation of saws and related equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
  • Physical ability to lift and move
  • Attention to details and ability to produce accurate cuts according to drawings.
  • Technical training or certification in machine operation (if applicable).
Specific Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications for any relevant machine operation.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in meeting production deadlines.
