JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Associate Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that repackaging processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role involves supervising production staff, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. This is a full time hourly role.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor production staff.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Communicate production goals and expectations to team members.

Production Oversight:

  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure that production schedules are met.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality standards.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of production processes.
  • Address and resolve any quality-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of quality issues.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement in production processes and workflows.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Collect production data to monitor performance metrics.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety training and drills for production staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production floor.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a manufacturing environment, with the workstation on the production floor. It involves a significant amount of time standing and walking within the building. The work environment is fast paced with constantly changing priorities, emphasizing innovation and continuous improvement.
