Material Handling Inc. is a leading Material Handling provider in the Southeast and we are looking to add to our Dalton Service team. We are looking for a Service Advisor to be responsible for specific daily administrative service functions in support of our Service Operations while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. If you have a great attitude, are detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and a desire to deliver world class customer service then we want to talk to you.


Job Requirements include the following but other duties may be assigned:

  • Handle all aspects of the service process, from start to finish, with a group of technicians.
  • Answer customer questions and address customer problems.
  • Schedule and coordinate all internal and external service calls as they are received.
  • Create dispatch ticket for all service calls.
  • Maintain technicians Work in Process.
  • Generate and manage service quotes to ensure timely and accurate customer quotes, both internal and external.
  • Follow up on all pending and recommended work with customer.
  • Check notes in work orders to ensure description of repair is clear and concise.
  • Check timecards daily and ensure correct posting of time to work orders.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collection efforts.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma, GED, or tech school graduate preferred.
  • High ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in a service-oriented environment and use of a service scheduling software highly preferred.
  • Strong math skills, customer service skills, organization, and professional communication are a must.
