We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Machine B Operator at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 2nd shift, 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $22.01 and may be higher depending on experience. 2nd Shift also has a shift premium of 4%.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Operate punch press.
  • Operate brake presses, hydraulic and mechanical.
  • Operate O.B.I.'s and cycle Dyne heater.
  • Operate bevellers.
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Assist A operators as assigned.
  • Record labor accurately on work orders and Kronos.
  • Complete Quality Audit process.
  • Clean and maintain work area on a daily basis.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Machines, Tools, and equipment used:

Successful applicant will also use the following tools and equipment to complete their assigned tasks: Punch press, press brakes, material handling equipment, jib hoists, tape measure & templates, O.B.I.'s, bevellers, grinders, templates, and cycle dyne heater.

Education & Skill Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to read both metric and imperial dimensions accurately on tape.
