As a Warehouse Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient inventory management and operational excellence within our branch warehouse. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory levels, implementing inventory control procedures, and maintaining accurate records of stock movements. You will collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and support the overall supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring correct placement and replenishment of stock. Implement measures to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Stock Monitoring: Update inventory records, perform regular inventory counts, and reconcile discrepancies. Facilitate truck inventory counts and ensure accurate allocation of stock to service trucks and jobs.
  • Transfer Management: Receive incoming inventory from procurement, verify materials against orders, and allocate stock to appropriate service trucks. Close inventory loops in Service Titan and manage transfers between branch locations and trucks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse management, procurement, and other departments to streamline inventory processes, improve efficiency, and address any operational issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, transfers, and deliveries to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials for damage and coordinate returns as necessary with warehouse management and service technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

This role primarily operates in a warehouse and storage environment.

May require flexibility with hours, including extended workdays during peak periods or for inventory audits.

Use of standard office and warehouse equipment is essential.

Salary:

$23-$26 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
