JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer II

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $28.75 per hour

Summary:

  • Under minimal supervision, assist in the removal, installation, fabrication, and testing of avionics and electrical components.

  • Assist with the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and fixtures according to blueprints and engineering drawings.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records.

  • Complete tasks within the allotted time frame.

  • Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

  • Verify and inspect all work for defects before final inspection.

  • Comply with company FOD, tool control, 5-S programs, and safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., Kaizen events).

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two years of related work experience, or an avionics certificate from an accredited school with one year of related work experience.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills and general software knowledge.
