Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking to add Light Duty Tow Truck Operators in Zephyrhills We are seeking candidates that possess a positive attitude, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities. 


All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once you are assigned the truck.


No Slip Seating


Essential Functions:

The ideal experienced driver must be able to do the following:

  • Respond to accidents, breakdowns, and other roadside incidents.
  • Stay in contact with motorists when you are in route.
  • Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage.
  • Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
  • Remove illegally parked vehicles.

 

Physical Requirements for the Position Include:

  • Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing, significant physical strength and stamina.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
  • Must be able to pass background check /drug test.
  • Must have a Clean Driving Record.
  • Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills

Job Type:

Full Time - Day and Night Shifts available


Schedule:

Five-day work week (Weekends ARE mandatory)

 

Pay:

  • 30% Commission - Our drivers average $800-$1,300 weekly.
    • This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salary paid position.
