Table Games Dealer

SUMMARY: Employee(s) must meet the highest guest service standards when dealing any table game to increase game efficiency, time played, and promoting positive guest experience. Employee(s) must be able to deal as described in departmental and casino-wide policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follow Attendance Policies consistently and regularly; must be dependable.
2. Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects well on you, the Table Games Department, Royal River Casino, and the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe.
3. Deals respective live table games with efficiency, proficiency, and professionalism, while providing great guest service.
4. Exchanges currency for gaming chips.
5. Pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
6. Notifies Pit Supervisor or Boxman of any irregularities in the game, including play, possible gaming violations, personnel or operational problems.
7. Notifies Pit Supervisor or Boxman of any disputes.
8. Utilizes playing cards, dice, and roulette ball appropriately, and reviews them for irregularities throughout respective shift.
9. Must be able to control emotions and handle stressful situations in a professional conduct.
10. Must be table to work as a team.
11. Maintain complete knowledges of and comply with all current policies, regulations, procedures, and internal controls pertaining to the Blackjack Department.
12. Read, understand, and adhere to FSST Gaming Regulations and NIGC MICS.
13. All duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION:

Must be at least 21 years of age

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate with a High School diploma or equal level of education. (G.E.D.)

One (1) year table games experience preferred

Craps and Roulette Experience preferred

One (1) year of Customer Service experience preferred

Starting Wage: $ 6.50 hr plus tips
