Position Overview:

The Rental Car Coordinator will have the exciting challenge of establishing and managing our rental car and courtesy transportation program. This role is vital in ensuring that our customers have a seamless and positive experience when renting vehicles from Bozarth Chevrolet. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. They should be motivated to take ownership of this new role and drive its development.


Key Responsibilities:


  •       Program Development:
  •       Develop and implement the rental car and courtesy transportation program from the ground up.
  •       Establish policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and customer-centric operations.
  •       Collaborate with management to set goals and objectives for the program’s growth and success.
  •       Fleet Management:
  •       Manage and maintain a fleet of rental cars and courtesy transportation vehicles.
  •       Schedule regular maintenance, cleaning, and inspections to ensure vehicles are in excellent condition.
  •       Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate the scheduling of rentals to maximize fleet utilization.
  •       Track vehicle mileage, usage, and service history.
  •       Coordinate repairs and handle any issues that arise with rental vehicles promptly.
  •       Customer Service:
  •       Greet customers and assist with rental car reservations, pick-ups, and returns.
  •       Provide detailed information about rental terms, vehicle features, and policies.
  •       Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  •       Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the rental process.
  •       Administrative Duties:
  •       Maintain accurate records of all rental transactions and vehicle usage.
  •       Process rental agreements, payments, and other related documentation.
  •       Prepare and distribute reports on fleet utilization, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  •       Handle insurance claims and liaise with insurance companies as needed.
  •       Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding vehicle rentals.
  •       Operational Efficiency:
  •       Develop and implement procedures to streamline rental operations and improve efficiency.
  •       Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and materials.
  •       Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of courtesy transportation for service customers.
  •       Train and supervise staff involved in the rental car and courtesy transportation program.


Qualifications:


  •       High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  •       Previous experience in car rental, fleet management, or a related field.
  •       Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  •       Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  •       Proficiency in Google Office and rental management software.
  •       Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  •       Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and developing new programs.


Compensation and Benefits:
