Loan Portfolio Officer

JOB SUMMARY

Execute the lending function for the Bank. To follow policies, procedures and objectives for the extending of credit. Maintain the quality and quantity of lending activity.

Duties

1. Extend credit as approved under position authority or as approved by the Loan Committee.
2. Develop lending prospects under the supervision of the CEO/President/Team Supervisor.
3. Follow lending and operational policies which are consistent with overall banking operating objectives and federal and state regulations.
4. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and bank policies.
5. Prepare special reports and credit analysis as needed.
6. Coordinate documentations requesting for existing loans and for renewal of all loans.
7. Participate in overall activities of all lending and support staff.
8. Assist in loan customer servicing and participate in customer calling efforts by lending staff.
9. Recommend new products in the areas of lending and public relations.
10. Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
11. Assist supervisor as instructed.
12. Other duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATION

Make recommendations to supervisor about possible methods to improve any area of the Bank.

RELATIONSHIPS

1. Responsible to the Senior Lender for fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.
2. Advise and assist officers and staff in their respective functions associated.
3. Have extensive contract with customers, the public and the community, and conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
4. Maintain confidentiality of Bank and customer information.
5. Participate with community projects as called upon. Relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
