Multimedia Journalist

KOKI-TV Fox23 Tulsa has an opening for a dynamic, deadline-driven multi-media journalist who has a strong on-air presence. Our news department is a fast-paced environment where accuracy is a must and innovative people thrive. MMJ’s are responsible for pitching and producing enterprising content that engages our news viewers across all our platforms. You will complete a story from start to finish, by shooting, writing, and editing your package. Candidates

• Operate and maintain a professional quality video camera and related news gathering equipment
• Be familiar with and understand non-linear editing techniques to meet deadlines and create high-impact stories
• Understand how to properly light interviewees in the field
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
• Knowledge of the Tulsa DMA is helpful
• Knowledge of non-linear editing software like Edius, Premiere, or Final Cut preferred
• Journalism degree preferred

Physical Demands: Must be able to carry and set up a camera on a tripod, have knowledge of how to light interview subjects and how to operate editing software with speed and accuracy.
