Job Description - Pega BPM Developer
Responsibilities and requirements
- Analyze, design, and support the implementation of Pega 7.x BPM workflow based on business requirements and specifications
- Adhere to development standards defined by the Pega COE and conduct regular code reviews to ensure compliance
- Participate in Agile Team activities, including daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, product demos, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with Testing Teams to ensure timely correction of defects or missed requirements
- Prepare and present demos during the application life cycle
- Strong understanding of and experience with the ability to design, develop, test and implement workflow application in Pega 7.X platform.
- 3+ years hands on experience with Pega PRPC platform (7.2 and higher)
- Experience designing and developing process based solutions or BPM (business process management).
- Experience in working on various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors etc.
- Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design.
- Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Good understanding of doing integration with third party APIs (WebServices, JSON, REST, XML etc.).
- Understanding of web concepts such as HTTP, SSL/TLS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Oracle/SQL and Scripting knowledge is highly desirable.
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins, BIX, Oracle DB development, REST API
- 8+ years of experience, including Pega 7.x BPM, Java, SOA, WSDL, Web services, HTML, XML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, and Oracle
- Nice to have - Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA)
