The Dead End Hayride seeks a Carpenter to help build out, maintain, and build out future concepts for Minnesota’s # 1 Haunted attraction.

Duties include any of the following categories but are not limited to:

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Safe operation and knowledge of hand and power tools as well as typical woodshop equipment
• Work with wood, metals, plastics, and other materials to build and repair show elements
• Ability to read shop and construction drawings
• 2-year(s) work experience, preferably in scenic, set, theatre, or finish carpentry
• Demonstrate high quality, precision work with clean finish results consistently
• Experience building furniture, cabinets, or other creative woodworking experience a huge plus
• Positive, hardworking attitude.
• Team oriented
• Able to work flexible hours
• Ability to problem solve

PREFERRED SKILL SETS:

• Creative ability
• Furniture building
• Theater, television, or film set background
• Trade show display construction
• Cabinetry or furniture fabrication

REQUIRED:

• Carpentry: 2 years
• Must be punctual 
• Have own transportation 
• Knowledgeable in woodworking power tools 

COMPENSATION:

• Pay ranges from $17-$25 depending on experience

EMPLOYMENT LENGTH:

• 3 months- (Possibly full-time)

TYPICAL START TIME: 

• (May Vary)

TYPICAL HOURS PER WEEK:

• 10-40 hrs. (Overtime is Possible)
