Description

The Order Selector position will service internal and external customers quickly and accurately by picking up finished goods from production departments, stocking and pulling finished goods in the Online Warehouse department, verifying accuracy of orders and inventory, and loading/unloading trucks. Additionally, all Order Selectors are responsible for keeping the warehouse and their assigned work areas safe and clean. This is a labor-intensive position and qualified candidates should expect to be lifting finished goods for the entire duration of their shift.

The essential duties of the Order Selector position include, but are not limited to:

• Pulling, staging, and processing finished goods orders in ERP/Vendor Portal for shipment with accuracy.
• Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Performing cycle counts and ensuring that product is in proper locations.
• Using a scanner to perform inventory moves and transactions in the ERP system.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Using material handling equipment (i.e. order picker, forklift, pallet jack) to move product throughout warehouse.
• Communicating any out-of-stock issues and assisting in prioritizing stocking needs or changes.
• Assisting with other warehouse functions as necessary.

Qualifications for the Order Selector position include but are not limited to:

• Ability to adhere to Carefree’s attendance policy.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping as product is moved.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and comfort working with different computer systems, applications, and technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is anticipated to be from $18.50 - $19.50 per hour.
