Horizon Controls Group are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MES Engineer (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer with proficiency in Siemens Opcenter. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in advancing our production systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance, analysing FEED studies, and collaborating seamlessly across departments. This role is vital for upholding the quality and efficiency of our clients pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmaceutical FEED Study Analysis:.

· Provide actionable insights and feedback, ensuring proposed solutions are in line with pharmaceutical standards and compliance.

Concept Design & Architecture in the Pharmaceutical Context:

· Partner with project stakeholders during the concept design and architecture phase, ensuring designs adhere to pharmaceutical best practices and regulatory requirements.

· Offer consultation to align the MES with our companys strategic goals, while also meeting pharmaceutical manufacturing needs.

Implementation Leadership:

· Spearhead a team of contractors throughout the Siemens Opcenter MES implementation, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and compliance with pharmaceutical standards.

· Closely monitor the projects milestones, identify potential risks, and guide the team towards successful deployment.

Collaboration & Communication with Automation Leadership:

· Cultivate transparent communication with the Automation departments leadership, providing updates on project status, achieved milestones, and encountered challenges.

· Collaborate with other departments, ensuring an integrated approach to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Continuous Improvement within the Pharmaceutical Landscape:

· Stay abreast with the latest advancements in Siemens Opcenter, MES technologies, and pharmaceutical manufacturing trends.

· Recommend system optimizations and improvements based on evolving pharmaceutical needs and regulatory updates.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in MES implementation, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

· Demonstrated expertise in Siemens Opcenter.

· Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations and compliance standards.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret FEED studies and translate them into actionable plans.

· Proven track record of successful MES implementation and optimization in the pharmaceutical domain.

· Certifications related to Siemens OpsCenter or other MES platforms.

· Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
