Are you a skilled carpenter looking for a new opportunity with a growing company? East River Contracting is currently seeking experienced framing carpenters to join our team. If you have a passion for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you

Job Responsibilities:

  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
  • Install windows, doors, and other fixtures
  • Operate hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks
  • Follow blueprints and verbal instructions
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • 18 y.o. or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Spanish/English Bilingual is a bonus
  • Prior experience as a carpenter
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
