Job Description:

As a Clinical Laboratory Technician in our research department, you will play a key role in supporting and collecting laboratory specimens and measurements, analyzing samples, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of research data. Your work will directly impact our research projects and contribute to significant advancements in clinical research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory tests and procedures with precision.
  • Prepare and analyze samples, including blood, tissue, and other biological specimens.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and functioning.
  • Document and interpret test results, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with research scientists to design and implement experiments.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in research meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with laboratory instruments.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Experience working in a clinical or research laboratory setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred.
