Speak Easy Rehabilitation Pllc in Angier, NC is looking for one certified occupational therapy assistant (pediatric) to join our team. We are located on 45 Comm Park Lane. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring a patient’s progress to make sure that they’re successfully completing treatment
  • Encouraging the patient during their recovery process
  • Helping patients to improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems
  • Teaching patients with disabilities to become more independent
  • Updating patient records for the Occupational Therapist
  • Keeping the office equipment in good order
  • Teaching patients, family members or other Caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program


Qualifications:

  • Associates in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant in North Carolina
  • Current CPR certification

Skill Sets that we are looking for:

  • Documentation and Notes completed in a timely manner.
  • Scheduling: being able to work with families and facilities to do treatment sessions
  • Verbal communication: Being able to effectively communicate vertically to their supervisors and bosses, and laterally to providers in other disciplines as well.
  • Patient services: being able to provide quality and professional treatment services to all patients
  • Ability to work in clinic and outpatient environments.
  • Teamwork
  • Use of medical technologies and equipment
  • Bedside manner: Able to build rapport with various caregivers
  • Dependability

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $21.63 - $25.00/hour.
