Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hoarder Cleaning Specialist. This role involves providing professional cleaning services to individuals dealing with hoarding disorder, restoring their living spaces to safe and habitable conditions. As a Hoarder Cleaning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping clients reclaim their homes and improve their quality of life.Salary: $17 Per HourLocation: Magnolia, TXHours: 7:30am to 5pm ( Monday – Friday)Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of hoarded environments to develop personalized cleaning plans.
  2. Work closely with clients and their families to understand their specific needs and concerns.
  3. Implement appropriate cleaning strategies and techniques to remove clutter, debris, and hazardous materials from the premises.
  4. Sort and organize items according to client preferences, safety considerations, and sanitation standards.
  5. Dispose of waste and unwanted items responsibly, following local regulations and guidelines.
  6. Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists, social workers, and organizers, to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients throughout the cleaning process.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of projects.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment to minimize risks associated with cleaning hoarded environments.
  10. Provide empathy, understanding, and encouragement to clients throughout the cleaning journey, demonstrating sensitivity to their challenges and emotions.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in cleaning or organizing, particularly in hoarded environments, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of hoarding disorder, its causes, and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues with empathy and respect.
  • Detail-oriented approach to cleaning, with a focus on thoroughness and efficiency.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of cleaning cluttered and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude toward individuals struggling with hoarding disorder.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the location and scope of the job.
