We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide support as a warehouse lead trainer. In this role, you will be responsible for the training and evaluation of all new and current employees. This role will be responsible for ensuring all employees are equipped with the tools necessary to find success in their roles. This position will require a safety focused employee who is comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.

MOVE FORWARD WITH USWhat you will be doing
  • Responsible for the training and retraining of Franklin Employees. 
  • Facilitate training for all forklift operators including operation, inspection, and maintenance standards. 
  • Mastery level understanding of all process and work instructions across departments. 
  • Enforce the “I do, We Do, You Do” instruction strategy to ensure employees are shown the proper execution of work instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Work closely with the management team to identify gaps in the current processes and encourage changes where necessary. 
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate distribution functions.
  • Flexible to work a variety of schedules based on the hired employee’s shift. 
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

What you need
Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled forklift and reach truck operator (Raymond preferred). 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Reads, understands, and communicates documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Utilizes common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
  • Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks and shifts. 
  • Capability of evaluating employee performance and understanding of how trainees are progressing. 
 Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
  • 3 years or more experience working in a training capacity in a warehouse setting.
 Computer Skills
  • Basic: RF scanner.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
 Certificates and Licenses
  • Forklift Certification (required).
