Join Our Team as an Admissions Counselor for a Leading Education Consulting Firm

Are you passionate about helping students navigate the college admissions process? We are searching for an Admissions Counselor to join our dynamic team at a top-tier education consulting firm.As an Admissions Counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding students and their families through the complexities of college admissions. This role is project-based and requires a commitment to excellence in assisting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized guidance to students on college admissions requirements, applications, and deadlines.

  • Assess students' academic backgrounds, interests, and goals to recommend suitable colleges and programs.

  • Assist students in identifying their strengths and unique qualities to craft compelling application essays.

  • Coordinate college visits, interviews, and informational sessions to help students make informed decisions.

  • Stay current on trends and changes in the college admissions landscape to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Build relationships with college admissions officers to advocate for students and facilitate the application process.

  • Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and events to educate students and parents on college admissions best practices.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in college admissions counseling or a related field.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant area of study.

  • Familiarity with college admission criteria, standardized tests, and financial aid options.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support students in their educational journeys.
