Summer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an EPIC MyChart Summer Intern. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare technology, specifically focusing on EPIC MyChart, a patient portal that empowers patients to manage their health information online.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of EPIC MyChart features and functionalities.
• Provide support to users, including patients, in navigating and utilizing EPIC MyChart.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EPIC MyChart.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EPIC MyChart.
• Conduct research and analysis on best practices for patient engagement and digital health tools.
• Assist in training sessions and workshops for users to maximize their use of EPIC MyChart.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing efforts related to EPIC MyChart usage and improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology, with a focus on patient portals and electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, such as healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in healthcare technology and digital health solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in work.
• Basic knowledge of EPIC or electronic health records is a plus, but not required.
• Availability to work during the summer internship period.
