Director of Physical Therapy

Carolina Therapeutics, PLLC, is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy to lead and support our growing team based primarily in the Greater Charlotte area This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our physical therapy services within an interdisciplinary practice, with responsibilities extending across various locations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for supporting our current staff of 5 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapy Assistants across all Carolina Therapeutics locations. While you will be based primarily in the Greater Charlotte area, your role will involve providing leadership and support to teams in different areas across North Carolina and South Carolina. Although our practice primarily focuses on pediatric care, the ideal candidate must be flexible and experienced in working with a variety of age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a small caseload providing direct physical therapy services to clients.
- Supervise and mentor PTs and PTAs at all Carolina Therapeutics locations to ensure high-quality care.
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage practice growth.
- Complete required evaluations, notes, plans of care, and associated documentation.
- Maintain and enhance professional relationships with referral sources.
- Collaborate with other therapy disciplines within the practice to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure in North Carolina and South Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure in both states.
- Credentialed with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Commitment to a minimum one-year contract.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult clients.
