Join our Quality Assurance team in Fenton, MO, as a Manager of Quality Control, where you will spearhead the implementation of our rigorous quality programs and systems. This role is crucial in ensuring our engineering outputs meet or exceed both customer-specific and industry-wide standards, thereby enhancing our market reputation for superior product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Quality Systems Leadership: Oversee and enhance quality control processes to mitigate risks within economical constraints, ensuring alignment with market demands and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Management: Directly manage and develop the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Operational Quality Assurance: Interpret third-party quality assessments and provide expert analysis on fabrication, installation, and operational quality issues.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic quality plans that effectively reduce risks and minimize costs related to fabrication errors.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring systematic quality issues are proactively addressed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all required certifications are maintained and that our quality systems adhere to ASME Section I or VIII standards.


Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required. A technical field degree with relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Professional Experience: At least 8 years of experience in quality roles within heavy industry sectors such as manufacturing, construction, or related fields, with specific expertise in ASME compliance.
  • Leadership Skills: Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and leading quality control teams.
  • Technical Skills: Profound knowledge of non-destructive testing, welding, and quality control best practices in an ASME-regulated environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively presenting technical information and engaging with senior management and cross-functional teams.
