CDPAP Coordinator

Position: CDPAP Coordinator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Company: Edison Home Health Care
Edison Home Health Care is seeking dedicated and experienced CDPAP Coordinators to join our CDPAP department in our Brooklyn office. If you have a background in home health care or customer service, we encourage you to apply. Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to update records and ensure satisfaction with our services.
- Documentation: Accurately document all notes and updates, and verify timesheets for Personal Attendants (PAs).
- Compliance & Coordination: Keep electronic records up-to-date in compliance with agency policies and regulations. Work closely with the Department of Social Services and Managed Care contracts to ensure timely and accurate record compliance.
- Application Management: Coordinate applications and monitor caregiver compliance.
- Incident Reporting & Customer Service: Report all incidents to your immediate supervisor and provide excellent customer service. Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in home care coordination (preferred).
- Skills: Familiarity with HHA Exchange software (preferred) and bilingual Spanish (preferred). Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, troubleshoot, meet deadlines, and excel in time management. Positive, compassionate, and outgoing personality, with the ability to remain composed and professional under pressure.
