Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in identifying and purchasing automotive parts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering expert advice on parts selection.
• Utilize electronic catalogs and inventory systems to locate and order parts efficiently.
• Process parts transactions accurately and handle payments with attention to detail.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean parts counter area for an optimal customer experience.
• Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure timely fulfillment of parts orders.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge, updates, certifications and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
• Handle telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
• Assist in receiving and organizing incoming parts shipments.
• Contribute to maintaining an efficient and customer-focused parts department.

Qualifications:
 

• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
• Some experience preferred in both front and back of parts counter.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights of 25 ft.
• Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
• Familiarity with electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to handling parts transactions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and parts is a plus.
