Assistant Toddler Teacher Salary: $15.50 - $17 per hour

Assistant Toddler Teacher Hours: 2 Shifts Available: Monday - Friday, 8:15am- 2:15pm (Part Time) & Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Part Time)

Assistant Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
  • Leading age appropriate activities
  • Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
  • Building strong relationships with the parents

Assistant Toddler Teacher Qualifications:

  • Have 2+ years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc.)
  • Are a high school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
