We are currently seeking a Full Time Assistant Teacher to join our team onsite. What does a Assistant Teacher do?

As a Full Time Assistant Teacher at the Young Women's Christian Association in Cleveland, Ohio, you will play a vital role in assisting the Lead Teacher in the daily operation of the classroom. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to implement the curriculum and create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. With a strong commitment to quality education, you will ensure strict adherence to all State Day Care Licensing rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our students to grow and thrive. Your dedication to upholding these standards will contribute to the overall success of our program and fulfill our mission of providing high-quality education and care to young children. What matters most

To be successful in the role of Full Time Assistant Teacher at the Young Women's Christian Association, you should possess a range of skills and experiences. Firstly, you should have a minimum of two consecutive years of full-time experience working with children between the ages of birth to five years old. This experience will provide you with a solid foundation in child development and an understanding of best practices in early childhood education.
