Experienced Contract Probate and Estate Planning Attorney Needed

We are an entrepreneurial boutique Estate Planning & Probate law firm that is on track for aggressive growth and we need an experienced Attorney to join our team working directly with the owner to support the team and help our clients.

 

We want to be known for helping our clients come out of an extremely emotional process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast and we need an experienced attorney who can hit the ground running.

 

We love to help people learn and grow. We need an Attorney with experience in Estate Planning & Probate law. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.

 

This is a part-time position that may quickly **turn into full-time** where you are expected to manage a caseload. Initial employment compensation will be based on your experience, with opportunities for increases after that. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability.

Compensation:

$50 - $75 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Possess strong negotiation and organizational abilities
  • Effectively advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
  • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation processes
  • Substantial experience with creating wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to discuss plans with clients for distributing clients' assets and educate clients on matters of estate planning
  • Attend court proceedings as needed and assist with the management of litigation matters
  • Possess a high degree of accountability and responsibility to ensure that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions
  • Independently maintain and manage individual casework, including representing clients at hearings
Qualifications:
  • Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law matters for at least 2-3 years REQUIRED
  • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree REQUIRED
  • Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
  • Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
