Colt's & Filly's Childcare provides exceptional child care, day care, early learning, infant care, and preschool services to the Mason, MI area. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and enriching environment for both our staff and the children in our care.

Role Description:


We are looking for friendly, caring individuals to join our amazing team. As part of our staff, you will implement our curriculum, create a nurturing environment, and build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will also support the centers goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

Required Qualifications:


  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multi-task
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role (or willingness to obtain)
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willingness to obtain)
  • Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Ability to assume low-level postures for interacting with children and engage in physical activity
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and children
Responsibilities as a Child Care Staff at Colt's & Filly's Childcare:


  • Implement our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
  • Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, children, and staff
