What we are looking for:
Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to pick up home care cases in and around Selden, with the opportunity to take outpatient cases out of our Selden clinic as needed. Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company who offers Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage and Acupuncture services. Job Type: Per Diem/Coverage
Pay: $60-$80 per visit (45 minute sessions)
Requirements:- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
