Position Summary: Windwalker seeks a proficient Project Manager to oversee critical aspects of medical, dental, and hearing health programs for the Defense Security Service (DSS). This role involves meticulous coordination of scheduling, documentation, tracking, and reporting of dental and audiological services for VTARNG soldiers, alongside managing credentialing of medical personnel and conducting data analysis for medical and dental programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess historical dental health events and treatment requirements, providing recommendations for scheduling and support to DSS.

  • Evaluate individual and unit dental assessment outcomes, reporting findings to DSS and recommending process improvements for clinical and administrative efficiency.

  • Ensure accuracy of dental readiness administrative data uploads and coordinate dental remediation appointments with RHRP.

  • Monitor soldier voucher compliance and dental assessment/treatment status, generating reports for DSS and command leadership.

  • Track dental readiness class conversions and unresolved conditions, reporting findings to DSS and State Dental Officer (SDO).

  • Review completed treatment plans provided by civilian contractors and provide status reports on dental events to DSS.

  • Conduct data mining to develop matrices for dental assessment, treatment, and data management processes, offering recommendations for improvement.

  • Complete HIPPA training within MEDCHART system and evaluate audiology events and soldier hearing conservation plans, providing recommendations to DSS.

  • Coordinate follow-up appointments for soldiers with marked threshold shifts and monitor compliance with appointments, reporting findings to DSS.

  • Develop training modules on health provider credentialing process and requirements, facilitating self-initiation of credentialing process.
  • Evaluate data integrity and information management practices to enhance Individual Medical Readiness (IMR).

  • Gather data on timelines from injury to return to duty (RTD) or Medical Decision Making Point (MDMP), recommending process changes to ensure soldier medical progress aligns with profile management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Monitor health provider credentialing documentation and perform quality assurance services, reporting discrepancies and trends to DSS.

  • Report trending issues and results from information gathering to DSS for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in healthcare or military healthcare administration is desirable.
