Location: San Antonio, TXSalary: $17 Per HourHours: 8AM TO 4PM
As a Construction General Laborer, you will work alongside skilled tradespeople and construction professionals to assist in the completion of various building projects. Your responsibilities will include performing manual labor tasks, operating basic hand and power tools, and ensuring the work site is clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual Labor: Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials and equipment.
  • Assisting with fence installation
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris,and setting up temporary structures.
  • Material Handling: Receive, unload, and distribute construction materials at the work site.
  • Cleanup: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site by collecting and disposing of waste materials.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Assistance: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
  • Reporting: Report any issues or concerns regarding safety, quality, or productivity to supervisors promptly.
  • General Support: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support the overall construction process.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction or general labor roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required.
