Maintenance Helper

Malace|HR is seeking a Maintenance Helper to work onsite at an automotive manufacturer in Hamtramck, MI. The position comes with FULLY PAID HEALTHCARE BENEFITS. Experienced Candidates will have the ability to complete mechanical and electrical repairs on their own.

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm / 2pm to 10:30pm / 10pm to 6:30am

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability and desire to learn
• Light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance experience
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes
• Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
• Good verbal and written communications skills are required
• Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle
• Able to work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc
• Able to work on roofs of buildings
