Job Title: Paint and Body Apprentice

Job Description:

As a paint and body apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced technicians to learn and develop skills in automotive painting and bodywork. Your responsibilities will include:

     1. Assisting with the preparation of vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
     2. Learning to mix and match paint colors to ensure accurate color matching.
     3. Observing and assisting in the application of paint using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and quality finishes.
     4. Helping with the repair and restoration of vehicle body panels, including dent removal, filling, and sanding.
     5. Learning to use various tools and equipment safely and effectively, including power tools and paint mixing machines.
     6. Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
     7. Assisting with the cleanup and maintenance of work areas and equipment.
     8. Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive painting and              bodywork.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced technicians.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Interest in automotive painting and bodywork.
