Job DescriptionUnder direct supervision, the Material Handler 1 operates forklifts or other mobile equipment to perform routine moving, staging, loading or unloading of materials, supplies or products within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Transports raw materials, supplies, products and/or finished goods to and from storage or production lines and places them in designated area
- Completes all necessary paperwork and transactions, including scanning requirements
- Helps in packout area as needed.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
- Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned
Minimum:
- High School diploma or equivalent or attain ACT WorkKeys Assessment at certified job profile skill level
Preferred:
- 3+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Mobile equipment certification
