Title: Warehouse Associate III

Reports to: Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Lead

Schedule: Day Shift/ Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM (8hrs, 5 days)

Starting Pay: $24+/hr.

Summary: The Material Handler III is someone who is proficient in multiple functions of the warehouse team. Can problem solve, explain, and teach other associates in the steps of kitting and accurate inventory control. This individual ideally is LEAN certified and has a keen eye for improvement.


Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for ensuring all materials are kitted and ready to go on press before the job starts. Once the job ends making sure that all of the materials are processed, returned, and restocked accurately in Epicor. (60%)
  • Responsible for being knowledgeable in the other areas of the warehouse. Receiving materials in accordance with company procedures including completing level I inspection. Responsible for properly shipping products according to the work instructions. (10%)
    • Having a wide range of skills in the warehouse to assist with possible coverage issues. Staying ready to fill in where needed.
  • Responsible for compiling a priority to-do list and communicating them to the shift change. (20%)
    • In order to keep the multiple shifts organized communicating daily on what is needed to be completed.
  • Willing to lead meetings and projects that pertain to the warehouse development. (10%)
    • This pertains to LEAN training, bi-weekly team meetings, and being the first to learn a new procedure.

Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for maintaining a clean and safe work environment that matches the requirements for position.
  • Accountable for meeting quarterly attendance goals
  • Achieve product and service quality goals.
  • Accountable for on-time delivery to promise and want date. (Goal is 95%)
  • Accountable to implement improvements to current and new production runs or kitting processes with supporting documentation.
  • Accountable for accurate documentation audits with no findings.
  • Accountable to achieve goal for profit contribution dollars.
  • Accountable for completing personal learning and development goals.
  • Accountable to achieve goal for inventory accuracy measured by CFO audits. (Goal is 98%)
  • Accountable for attaining the goal of no more than 4 hours indirect time per week.
  • Accountable for ensuring the warehouse and all of the equipment needed for the job is in working order utilizing the maintenance repair portal when necessary.
  • Accountable to learn and maintain knowledge of shipping and receiving job functions.
  • Accountable for teaching and training new associates within all facets of the warehouse.
  • Accountable to be have LEAN forward thinking for improvements in the warehouse and Innovize.

Training/Education/Experience

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with shipping/receiving, picking packing and data entry in a warehouse environment a plus.
  • Experience with roll stock preferred.
  • Previous inventory control experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Forklift driving experience required; current certification a plus, box truck driving experience a plus
  • Proficient PC skills, Microsoft office, word, excel, outlook.
