We are looking for a temporary delivery & bus professional driver to join our team of FUN, DEDICATED, and MULTI-LINGUAL staff.

The Delivery Driver assists the Kitchen Manager in feeding 350 children in the morning, driving between Portland, Hillsboro, and West Linn, OR. (about 4 hours From 8:30-12 PM)

Then drives two groups of 12 children between their elementary schools and Atlas in the afternoon. (about 4 hours From 1:30 PM -4 PM). The position is open to work from JANUARY 6 to MARCH 28.


Position Summary:

Our Delivery Driver will safely operate Company vehicles to deliver goods, materials, and passengers. This position may also assist our Facility Manager in general warehouse duties such as stocking and retrieving package and bulk containers and general cleaning items.

General Responsibilities:

  • Drives a company vehicle to transport food, supplies, materials, and/or children (5-12 years old).
  • Delivers, loads, and unloads products, food, and/or equipment as requested.
  • Complies with all the company's safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Supporting food services as directed by our Kitchen Manager and delivering food to other Atlas sites

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Must register in the Central Background Registry per the Department of Education requirement. May start training without active enrollment provided the application process is started.
  • Clean driving record
  • Have a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle driven
  • Certified in FIRST AID and CPR or accompanied by someone with certification.
  • Do not have any medical condition or use alcohol, drugs, tobacco or any medication that could compromise driving supervision, or evacuation abilities.
  • Maturity of judgment and behavior.
  • Attends work and shows up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Have completed RCANN + other safe driving courses Prior start date.


Experience/Knowledge:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of transportation-related work experience.

Skills/Aptitude:

  • Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and children.
  • Basic food-handling skills.

License/Qualifications:

  • A valid state driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility.
  • Ability to work in a sitting and standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, they may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
