Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated YouTube Advertising Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team at Bucked Up. As a YouTube Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns on the YouTube platform to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of YouTube advertising features, trends, and audience targeting capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Campaign Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive advertising strategies on YouTube aligned with overall marketing goals and objectives; collaborate with the marketing team to define target audiences, messaging, and campaign timelines.

• Media Buying and Execution: Plan, execute, and optimize YouTube advertising campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

• Budget Management: Manage and allocate advertising budgets effectively to maximize the impact of campaigns; monitor campaign spending and adjust budgets as needed to ensure optimal performance.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop engaging and visually appealing ad creatives tailored to the YouTube platform; provide input on creative elements that resonate with the YouTube audience.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance data, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement; use analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.

• Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and best practices in YouTube advertising; proactively identify new opportunities and technologies to enhance campaign performance.

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field and proven experience/track-record as a Media Buyer with a focus on social media marketing.

• Media Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of YouTube’s advertising platform, features, and audience targeting capabilities; strong understanding of various advertising platforms (with data and analytics) and media channels with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for creating effective marketing materials and collaborating with team members.

• Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, metrics, and market trends is important for making informed marketing decisions and optimizing campaigns.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate ideas clearly.

• Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Marketing Tools: Familiarity with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) softwares, and other relevant marketing technologies.

• Problem Solving: The ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions while being adaptable to changes and new trends.
