We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service and support to our customers. Your role will involve assisting customers with their purchases, providing product knowledge, and contributing to achieving sales goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Sales: Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to provide accurate information and answer customer inquiries.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Merchandising: Ensure the sales floor is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing. Assist with setting up displays and promotional materials.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain cash register balances.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives and create a positive work environment.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to improve products and services.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Experience: Previous retail or sales experience preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.
- Attributes: Customer-oriented, reliable, adaptable, and a team player with a positive outlook.
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
