Job Summary: The Social Media Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive online presence and fostering resident engagement within our property management portfolio. This role is responsible for creating compelling content and managing online reputation to elevate our Company brand in the digital landscape. Responsible for managing our Company’s online presence engaging with residents and potential residents through community engagement and social media and monitoring and enhancing our reputation. The coordinator contributes to the overall image of our Company, effective marketing of our assets, satisfaction of residents, and the success of our residential properties.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the developing and maintaining website content, including property listings, descriptions, links, forms, photos and videos.
  • Responsible for testing website functionality on different devices and browsers and assisting with training for end users.
  • Utilize analytics and reporting functionality including tools like Google Analytics to track website traffic, user behavior, and conversions, social media and online reputation metrics and utilize these results to make recommendations to leadership and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
  • Evaluate and monitor user feedback and industry trends and make recommendations for changes based on this data.
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with the company's brand and marketing goals and fosters a sense of community and engagement among residents.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and respond to online review platforms (e.g., Yelp, Google Reviews, Apartment Ratings, Apts.com,) for resident feedback and reviews.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to address any resident concerns raised online and implement strategies to enhance and maintain a positive online reputation.
  • Generate high-quality written and visual content, including blog posts, newsletters, graphics, and videos, to showcase our properties and promote resident engagement and user generated reviews to enhance our online presence.
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure regular updates on our website and social media profiles.
  • Take photos at events; both internal employee/company events and property events and collaborate with photographers, videographers and graphic designers as needed.
  • Develop and execute online contests, giveaways, and resident appreciation events to foster a sense of community.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in website management, social media and online reputation management
  • Minimum of 1 year in property management or real estate(preferred)
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).

  • Attention to detail without sacrificing larger objectives.
  • Communication (written, verbal, and visual) and interpersonal skills; ability to assemble, motivate, and lead teams to meet objectives

Special Demands/Physical Requirements:

  • Small amounts of lifting, twisting, bending, sitting, standing, keyboarding, driving, noise, indoor/outdoor etc.
  • Requires sitting or standing at a desk for long periods of time indoors.
  • Eye and hand coordination for viewing of monitor screen and multiple reports along with high volume of keyboard use.
  • Valid Driver’s License; Driving to properties
