We are currently searching for a talented Civil Engineer II to join our team in Minnetonka, MN This will be a hybrid position
Your options as a civil engineer are endless at SEH. You’ll engineer better communities -- complete streets, safer sidewalks, more sustainable utilities, and trails and parks. Others specialize in large-scale projects, like flood control facilities, dams, landfills, harbors/marinas, structural retaining walls and larger geotechnical projects. Regardless of the project, you’ll have your hands in the mix through all phases of a project: planning, pre-design, design, contract documentation, bidding and construction. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Previous project management, design and construction administration experience of Civil/Municipal projects including site improvements, streets, drainage and utilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of Five (5) years previous experience
- Previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for multiple city infrastructure projects
- Ability to develop new business opportunities and win project work
- Experience in preparing project plans, specifications and bidding documents
- Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management
- Previous experience leading a staff of engineering professionals
- Ability to coach and mentor junior level technical staff and Graduate Engineers
