Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of a Warehouse Associate . As a crucial member of our warehouse team, this individual will be responsible for managing the Return Merchandise Authorization process, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of returned products. This position offers the opportunity for growth, encompassing additional responsibilities beyond RMA processing, and requires a combination of physical work, critical thinking, and excellent teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Processing:
  • Receive, inspect, and process returned merchandise in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accurately document and record information related to returned items.
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues related to returns and customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with scanning technology is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping purposes.
  • Regularly evaluate and meet performance metrics, including RMA processing efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the achievement of overall warehouse performance goals.
  • Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of returned items for restocking or disposal.
  • Ensure all packaging materials comply with company standards and guidelines.
  • Grow into additional projects beyond RMA processing, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of warehouse processes.
Physical Work:
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise.
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, with prior experience preferred.
Critical Thinking:
  • Exercise critical thinking skills to assess and determine the disposition of returned items.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to returned merchandise and its processing.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse setting (1-2 years) is preferred
  • Forklift operation experience is required
  • Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Eager to learn and open to taking on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to challenges.
