Description of the role:

The Housekeeping Personnel at Pierre Clubhouse Hotel & Suites is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, and back of house spaces. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the overall satisfaction and comfort of our guests during their stay.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and meeting rooms
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms and public areas
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing linens
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks
• Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and  other work areas
• Strip linens from guest rooms
• Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
• Refurnish the room with supplies, towels, etc.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Previous customer service experience
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
