Great Lakes Roofing is seeking a Material Handling Logistics Assistant who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administrative processes supporting our Material & Equipment Division.

The successful individual must be well organized, possess strong task-shifting capabilities, and be able to think decisively on their feet.

You support the Division’s daily operations by recording information, importing data, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures. Our Material Handling Logistics Assistant is expected to resolve issues and provide well-thought-out solutions. Issues can be escalated, as needed, to management for guidance and resolution, but your sense of ownership is your driving force.

Typical work week is full-time Monday – Friday, from 6a – 3p. Your office is on-site at our Germantown, WI corporate headquarters. Your salary is paid weekly and, depending on experience, will start between $23 - $26/hour. 

You would be a good fit for the Material Handling Logistics Assistant if you:

  • Desire correctness, follow SOPs, and are willing to chase down inaccuracies
  • Computer savvy, confident in Microsoft Suite
  • Are task driven and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Have the confidence to be a self-starter each day


Professional Experience you bring to the table:

  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • 3+ years of construction project management/experience
  • Forklift certified and confident in a warehouse environment
  • Able to climb a 40' ladder, not afraid to work at a height 
  • Ability to strategically think through initiatives, issues and opportunities while contemplating unintended consequences
